Nice staff, and a perfect spot for breakfast.

The coffee was quite nice, but the service really spoiled the visit. The staff seemed disengaged, and there was no proper greeting. They came across as bothered. I asked whether Apple Pay was accepted and got a curt no, followed by the till screen being turned toward me to show the payment options. I saw credit cards listed and was about to tap that option, when the staff member suddenly swung the screen back toward herself and knocked my hand. She didn’t acknowledge it or apologize. The whole exchange felt rushed and unnecessarily rude. A little courtesy would have helped, especially in a customer-facing job. The lack of basic politeness overshadowed what could have been a pleasant visit.

The espresso and latte are great, and the French toast is awesome, $7 for two wedges. The pancakes are fluffy too, $7 for two, but they soak up syrup, so you’ll need a lot. Extra butter and syrup cost $1 per tablespoon per table. Great experience overall, and I’ll be back for sure.

Food is a bit pricey, but it and the coffee were excellent. The cafe latte was close to the best I’ve had around the greater Tokyo area. I’d come back.
