I booked ahead through Couples this time. Online reservations cost about 1000 yen more than choosing a room on arrival, so on weekdays picking one in person may be better value. Still, given the location, I think the price is reasonable. The front desk staff were helpful and didn’t pry into my personal life, even though I was traveling alone, which was a better experience than at another nearby love hotel I’d used before. Being able to go out for 24 hours is a distinctive feature, but remember to leave your key at the desk and collect your card when you head out. I had an F-rank room with an air purifier, large-screen TV, and water dispenser. The spacious bathroom was my favorite part. If they keep up the cleanliness and service, I’d like to stay again.

The guest rooms are simple and easy to use, making this love hotel in Yokohama’s Noge area suitable for either a short break or an overnight stay. It’s easy to reach from downtown, and works well if you want somewhere to relax.

I stayed overnight. You pick a room on a touchscreen and get the key at reception, where you can also leave it if you go out. I was a little surprised to see a male couple arrive while I was choosing, but that’s Noge, lol. The parking area fits only four cars, and spaces are for vehicles under 1.7 meters. Turning around inside is tricky unless you back in. My renovated third-floor room was nice, but felt cheap and didn’t really have the usual love hotel vibe. It seemed like they hadn’t spent much on it. The bathroom was so big you could fit a mattress in it. The complimentary dessert was tiny enough to make me laugh. It’s right in the middle of Noge, convenient if you’re going out drinking, though I don’t think there are any good bars there. There’s no room service. The cheaper rooms are decent value, but the pricier ones mostly have wasted space, so I can’t recommend them for the money. Also, the toilet barely flushed, and I panicked the first time I had to poop.

People stare when you enter because this love hotel is in a bar district, which can feel embarrassing. 😅 If being seen bothers you, I wouldn’t recommend it. Sounds from guest room doors opening and closing echo through the hall, so it’s hard to keep things quiet. The cleaning staff in particular seemed bad-tempered. They rushed in after guests left, cleaned in a hurry, then rushed out again. I wouldn’t choose this place if I wanted to relax physically and mentally. The bath and face towels are brown, so I wouldn’t wipe my face with them. I suspect they may reuse old towels as dusters after guests leave. That’s something you’d know if you’ve worked in the hotel industry. I’d look for hotels with white bath and face towels. All in all, about two stars. As an aside, I’d rather spend the night at home with someone I truly love than in a hotel.

I stayed in room 401. The room was a comfortable size, neither cramped nor especially spacious, and payment was made in advance. I liked having a sofa and Wi-Fi, and being able to stay multiple nights. The light bed cleaning and towel changes while I was out for meals were great. There was room to store coats and other things, and I got one free drink on arrival. Handheld massagers and other items were available to borrow for free. The bathroom was fantastic, with a shower area so spacious it felt big enough to sleep in. There was only one electrical outlet, which was inconvenient, so an extension cord or power strip is necessary. I wish there were an outlet in the bathroom too. I couldn’t use an iron there, and using it in the room was awkward because there was no mirror. The bed was a little small and might feel cramped for two people.
