I picked this place because it’s an easy walk from Shin Yokohama Station. It’s nothing fancy, but for one or two nights it’s fine and not expensive. My single room was very small, though clean, and had a small bathroom, air-conditioning, and pretty much what I needed for the night. Breakfast was okay. I stayed two nights, with a day away in between, and the staff were perfectly happy to hold my large suitcase until I came back the next day. All in all, a pretty good stay.

I’m a Toyoko INN fan and this is my third stay here. The economy single room is quite small, but it works perfectly well and was super clean. The bed is queen-size, and I especially liked the strong shower pressure. The complimentary breakfast was impressive, with the menu combination changing regularly.

The beds are very firm by Western standards, and I didn’t sleep very well because of that. The rooms are small, but very clean, and the staff are friendly, though they don’t speak much English. Google Translate helps. This Toyoko-inn is a mid-priced chain hotel, about a five-minute walk from the train station. Breakfast is included, there’s free WiFi, and movies can be rented in the rooms. Plenty of places to eat are within walking distance.

Breakfast was really good, and the breakfast staff were super nice and charming. The hotel is conveniently located, the service is great, and the price is pretty affordable.

The staff were friendly, the breakfast was tasty, and public transportation is convenient. The arena is also within walking distance. A week after checking out, I realized I might have left my documents behind. I wasn’t expecting much, but the room service team had thoughtfully kept them safe. I didn’t think I’d be able to get them back, so special thanks to the room service staff and the reception team for helping me with the rest.
