I’d recommend this place. It’s simple and quiet, and the staff treated guests with a lot of politeness and respect.

My family member is still having sudden bouts of itching nearly two months later. It started after they used the shower and towels here, and they developed severe dermatitis, with red eczema covering their upper body. A dermatologist prescribed oral and topical medicines, which have helped subside the symptoms, but the itching hasn’t fully stopped. If you’re worried about your health, please don’t stay here. I’d choose a decent business hotel with better hygiene practices.

For just under 5,000 yen, I thought it was good value. The building and rooms feel old, though there have been some updates, like new wallpaper. The woman at reception was from overseas, spoke Japanese well, and explained everything carefully.

It was nice that the whole hotel is non-smoking, and the chain lock alongside the double lock felt like a good security feature. The rooms are very clean and fairly spacious by Japanese hotel standards, with enough room to open a suitcase. This is a good-value business hotel. The electricity isn’t controlled by inserting a key card, so you can leave the refrigerator running while you’re out, which is handy in summer.
