There’s a Max Value nearby for groceries, and plenty of restaurants around, so the location is convenient. The hotel is very old, but you can tell they’re making an effort. The older front desk staff were very friendly.

I’d like to stay here again. It’s right beside Takashimaya, and I bought dinner and breakfast in the basement. They had half-price stickers, so I wound up buying a lot. The parking entrance was clearly marked, and the lot was spacious and easy to use. It’s nice that parking is free. The man at check-in and the woman who greeted me when I left were both very pleasant.

The location is convenient, close to the established downtown and entertainment districts, and there’s a coin laundry just a 30-second walk away. Free bicycle rentals make it a nice way to explore Yonago, and they also have membership cards if you stay often. This business hotel has been around for about 40 years, and I’ve been a customer since it first opened. The rooms and facilities do feel somewhat old. There are meal options nearby: breakfast can be Japanese or Western at a coffee shop about a minute’s walk away. With the dinner option, you can have a meal and a drink at Inadaya, a restaurant operated by a long-established sake brewery from Yonago that has opened many locations in Yonago and Tokyo.

The clientele was a bit rough, which isn’t surprising given the downtown location. Still, the man at reception was very kind, and the hotel was kept clean despite being a little old. I stayed in summer and found the centralized air conditioning cool and comfortable. It’s reasonably priced near Yonago’s downtown, and parking is free for guests.
