The staff were exceptionally kind and accommodating, and I'd absolutely stay here again. The family baths can be used without a reservation, which was really convenient. Both the public and private baths were gorgeous, and you could adjust the water temperature. It's also an easy walk into the main town.

Getting here meant hiking up a hill, and it wasn't easy to reach, but the effort paid off. The hot springs were great, affordable, and not crowded. I'd come back if I get the chance.

I was mainly looking for a place where I could smoke in the room, so I booked this inn in December 2025. It has a minshuku-like atmosphere, and the food was delicious. The hot springs were great too. The men's outdoor bath seemed to have strongly alkaline water, and there are three family baths. Still, I didn't find it especially satisfying or good value. It isn't a high-end inn, though I suppose the price was about right: 48,400 yen for one room for two people, with two single beds and a 4.5-tatami Japanese-style room.
