Bong Thom Home Stay

We went tandem biking to nearby food stalls, a handy outing if you have small children, and later had photos taken in traditional Khmer clothes. There was also a cooking class, and the Khmer food was some of the best we had. We stayed two nights at Bong Thom Homestay. It’s a peaceful break from town, with resort comforts and a taste of local country life. Our room was very clean, air-conditioned, and had a big bathroom. The staff were cheerful and so friendly. We spent time relaxing by the pool too. It’s a different kind of stay from a regular hotel in Siem Reap, and we’re already looking forward to coming back.

A quiet resort close to Siem Reap, but nicely removed from the bustle. The pool was the best-looking one we saw on our trip, huge and set against jungle views. We had fun exploring the area on the hotel bikes, including the tandem, and tried archery too. The restaurant space is beautiful as well.

A lovely, peaceful place to stop between Siem Reap town and Banteay Srei temple. It’s a beautiful resort away from town, with a pretty little garden, a nice pool, and really good food. I love eating here.

A relaxing homestay on the main road to Banteay Srey temple, with a large, attractive garden. There are flowers, trees, fresh air, and a lovely pool, plus the choice of individual rooms or villas. The host was friendly and helpful. I’d recommend it for a family night out.
