Women traveling alone, stay away! Male staff members walked into rooms without knocking, which was an absolutely terrible experience. They also tried to say my reservation was shorter than what I had paid for and wanted me to leave, even though I had booked the full stay. Thank goodness I booked through expedia, so I had proof of my check-in and check-out dates. I've traveled around Southeast Asia for 10 years and never stayed somewhere this bad. Avoid it unless you literally have no other choice.

I stayed with my family in Nov 2025. The location is strategic, in the centre near central market. The room was okay, but there was no electric kettle or minibar. The elevator broke down, so we had to take the stairs, which isn’t very accessible for disabled people.

Staff walk into rooms without knocking, so lock your door. The internet is unreliable, and staff often yell at each other. It’s fine if you need something cheap. If you don’t need the cheapest option, it’s not great.

I left within an hour and booked another hotel straight away. Booking this place was a mistake. My room was dirty, smelled bad, looked dodgy, and was poorly decorated. There was barely any water pressure, and when I mentioned it to the staff member showing me the room, I just got a blank look 😑. There were no clothes hangers or safe, and with a door lock that bad, a safe was definitely needed. They refused my refund request. I know the room was cheap, but come on!

Monu is easily the best front office hotel worker I've ever met! Smart, friendly, and helpful. The hotel is good, but this guy is really great and makes the place better.
