Le Botum Hotel

Breakfast was very good, with eggs made just how you like them, whether scrambled, fried, or as an omelet. You can eat indoors or outside. I'd suggest getting there early because some items run out. We never got clear confirmation about whether the water was filtered or safe. The pool was very cold around 2:30 pm, and the loungers were shaded and covered in soft plastic. Ask for a large towel and take it with you. The view over the temple and skyline was incredible, especially from a higher floor like room 601, and the hotel is very well located. The bedding was excellent and comfortable. They also provided four pairs of white flip-flops and elegant black bathrobes. The hotel is showing its age. The AC remote was unreliable, the windows didn't close all the way and let in quite a lot of mosquitoes, and the bathroom door squeaked terribly. Room 601 was noisy because it's close to the elevator. We were also disappointed by stained, torn linen. The location, view, bedding, and breakfast made for a good stay, but maintenance needs attention and guest information could be clearer.

At Le Botum Hotel, the staff were friendly and helpful, and breakfast had a tasty range of choices. Getting around was easy, with major attractions very close by. It's excellent value and a great hotel. I'd happily stay again, recommended!

We loved the calm atmosphere and the relaxed outdoor space. Our family of four had a huge room with a beautiful view of the palace, and breakfast was delicious. The staff were top-notch. Highly recommended!

The location is excellent, with several city food places on the same street or just around the corner. Our room was spacious and bright, with a large bathroom, but the bathroom products were awful, so bring your own. The pool area was much smaller than the photos suggest, though the views were great. Staff were friendly and helpful with changing money and giving recommendations, but service was very slow. We had to ask several times for more linen. There was just one small, very slow lift, and staff used it too since there was no service lift.
