We stayed for the Mud Festival, and the staff were friendly. Google Translate made it easy to communicate with them, and they even brought breakfast to our room. The architecture and views are incredible, and the hotel has a really relaxing feel.

The sunset was absolutely lovely, though there wasn't much around once it got dark. You'll need two nights if you want to properly watch the tides from your room. The lobby and rooms were breathtaking, with bright sunlight, upscale music, and even a welcome drink. It had only been open a few months, but the staff in general seemed gloomy.

The Ballet Resort is about a 10-minute drive from Daecheon Beach. The jacuzzi gave the room a nice atmosphere, and the ocean view made the sunset spectacular. Since the place is brand new, everything was very clean and pleasant. The restaurant was the one letdown: it felt chaotic, maybe because it was new, and possibly because there was no chef there. For the price, I was disappointed with it, but everything else was great.
