Snowflower Guesthouse

For my first trip to Seoul, Snowflower Guesthouse was a great choice as a solo traveler. It's clean, quiet, and feels safe, with a bus stop and subway station close by. Food and laundry are free, and the owner is really nice and patient. The area stays lively, so I felt safe coming home late. I'll stay here again on my next visit! ❤️

The room is very small, and there may not be enough space to open and unpack a suitcase. Still, it has a mini fridge and a large TV, probably 40 inches, with Netflix. There's a shower room and sink in the room, but no toilet. The shared toilet was very clean and had a heated seat and electronic bidet. I also liked the outdoor terrace, which had the biggest food selection I've seen at a goshiwon, including juices, milk, eggs, ramen, curry, ham, bread, and corn chowder. Snowflower Guesthouse is one of the better goshiwon-style places I've stayed in Seoul, and having an elevator makes luggage much easier to bring in. The small rooms involve some compromises, but the perks make up for them.

The room's tiny, but it worked perfectly for a couple of nights in Seoul, and the place was very clean. It's close to a bus stop and metro. There are eggs and instant ramen available, and you can cook your own meal. You get one coupon for the independent fitness center during your stay, though a day pass is reasonably priced. I'd stay again, especially as a solo traveler.

The balcony was a nice spot to relax and eat, and the rooms were really clean. Food is free, so you can save money by eating quite a few meals there. The shared toilets were clean and caused me no problems. Laundry is free too, and the tumble dryer costs 1,000 won. For an affordable but comfortable stay in Seoul, this feels like great value. I'd come back when traveling solo.
