One Way Guesthouse Busan - Hostel

The room was in terrible shape: it smelled like sewage, the bathroom had mold, the carpet was stained, and the walls were damaged. There was even a hole hidden behind the bed. The mattress was so uncomfortable that we put the blanket over it to keep from feeling the springs. Before check-in, the only place to leave bags was an unlocked room by the entrance that anyone could enter. They should sort out security, cleanliness, and comfort instead of pleading for 10/10 reviews.

We spent as much time outside as we could to avoid staying there, and it felt like bad value for money. The shared area was dirty, and the towels smelled of perfume but didn’t seem clean, so we used our own. There was a repeated toilet or urine smell coming from the drains in our private room. The common lounge smelled bad too, and nobody seemed to care. The hygiene needs serious improvement.

Busan Station, subway line 1, and the bus routes are all close by, which makes it easy to get around from this guesthouse. There are two rooms where you can work remotely or hang out with new friends, and the AC is excellent. The owner is gracious and welcoming to locals and foreigners, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The facilities are clean and have what you need for a comfortable stay. You can use a full kitchen with pots, pans, and utensils, plus a large fridge and freezer with plenty of space for groceries on a longer visit. It’s my favorite Guesthouse in Busan, and I highly recommend it for travelers, couples, and big groups.

The bathrooms are fantastic, the staff are helpful, and the location is super central. The rooms aren’t bad for the price, either. I’d recommend it for a few days in Busan or a layover.
