Brooklyn Blues

We couldn't get the smart self-check-in to work because of a system error. The owner wouldn't check us in the normal way until we'd spent about 15 minutes trying the machine, which made the whole arrival feel weird and uncomfortable. The room was big, but after a shower the whole bathroom gets wet because the shower area isn't separated into wet and dry sections. At night, light from the wall switches and the AC unit was ridiculously bright, making the room look like a street in Hongdae. The bed felt like cardboard, and the linen was plasticky. At this price, it's hard to recommend. Other hotels offer a better stay for the same or less. I also suspect the positive online reviews might come from a promotion where you can trade a good review for something at the cafe in the lobby.
