At night, take a little break in the quaint Hanok yard and enjoy the beautiful view in front of the house. Sit on the threshold, pick up a book hanging on the wall, and take your time.

A great historic place to stay, right in the middle of the tourist district.
I stayed in Seoul for about 25 days in November 2019 and absolutely loved it. It felt like a dream. The place is very central for visiting traditional sites, with a subway station nearby, and it felt very safe. I was never scared. I highly recommend it! ๐ซถ๐ผ
The guesthouse owner was so welcoming when I visited Korea with friends, and even helped us order fried chicken. The house was warm and cozy with its underfloor heating. We were there in winter when it snowed, and the traditional Korean house looked absolutely stunning in the snow. I hope I get the chance to stay again!
The location is great, and the heating and hot water worked well. But the towels smelled, and the bedding didn't seem to be cotton. The metal latch at the bottom of the door frame has sharp edges, so I worried about hurting my foot. The kitchen is cramped enough that opening and closing the microwave is awkward, and you have to wear shoes to use the shower. We booked as a group. With so many foreign guests, shouldn't the towels be okay?
