Bunk Guest House - Hostel

A few more hooks in the shower and toilet would have been handy, and after a long journey I found the male host a little cool when I arrived. A simple welcome would've helped. Apart from that, the hostel was spotless, with good security, a comfortable bed, and quality linen. It's in a quiet corner of a lively neighborhood, and the courtyard gives the place a peaceful, tucked-away feel. Breakfast was good too. It's close to flawless.

Dear Brian, the first nights at the Guesthouse have been amazing, and I'll be back at the end of my journey for my last days in Seoul. It's quiet and relaxing inside, even though the subway is nearby and the university area around it is full of life. Breakfast is simple, but that's all you need. The hostel has great staff and atmosphere, and the location is great too. Three Gs, like that popular local brand. I'll choose it again on my next visit to Seoul.

The dorms were neat, with privacy curtains, and the included breakfast was a real plus. There were eggs, bread, cheese, and several kinds of juice, which you don't often get for free at hostels in Seoul. The station is just a short 500m walk away, and there's plenty to eat and see around the trendy Hongdae neighborhood. The dining area could be social at times, though I wouldn't call this a social hostel. Host Brian was lovely and made sure my stay went smoothly. I had a wonderful time here and would recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful stay.
