We had a really enjoyable stay at this unusual guesthouse. The owner greeted us at the entrance to the 2/f and was warm, helpful, friendly, and very polite. He showed us around the area and even helped book a van for our trip back to the airport. Our room was superb, with a huge bathroom and toilet. Every room seemed to have its own “Make up Table,” which my girlfriend loved using every morning. The location is right in the center of Hongdae, with food and shopping around every corner, and the subway is within a five-minute walk. A good value choice for a fun Seoul stay.

I’ve never seen a cleaner guesthouse. The owner gets the room ready almost like a five-star hotel, and he’s easy to reach and always available if you have questions. Chul's Lodge is just a few steps from a subway station, right in the heart of Hongdae, with restaurants, shops, karaokes, and coffee places all around. You’ll definitely have a good time here.

The place is on the third floor, just near Hongdae Station. There’s no elevator, but inside it’s roomy, with several bedrooms and bathrooms, so I was comfortable during my stay. The staff are very friendly.

There’s a 7-Eleven right across the street, and the area is busy and convenient, so watch your spending while you’re there. The owner can speak some Chinese and personally showed us to the MRT, which made communication easy. Hongdae Exit 7 is quite close. The place has a microwave, gas stove, thermos, and several adapters. There’s also a filtered kettle that you fill with tap water. We chose to buy bottled water at a nearby convenience store, since that suited our preference.
