This was the worst Airbnb experience I’ve had, and I wouldn’t want anyone else to go through what we did. The place looked nothing like the photos. It was run down and poorly maintained, with stains everywhere. When we arrived at 4pm, the cleaner was still there and seemed to do only the basics: change the sheets and towels and take out the trash. The toilets were dirty, the rooms smelled damp, the whole place was dusty, and there was trash under the beds. The towels were all tiny, about the size of hand towels, and the toilet had lots of random toiletries left by previous occupants. To reach the balcony, we had to get past clutter on the stairwell, which was being used for storage, laundry hanging, and dumping things. The balcony didn’t look like the photos either. There was no fake grass, and the whole BBQ area was disgusting.

Our stay was awful and not worth it. The listing photos didn’t match the place at all, and it was a very long walk from the train station. There’s no elevator. The owner shouted at my father for stepping inside to sit down and take off his shoes, even though we’re Asian and don’t wear shoes in the house. The house was messy, with stuff and stains everywhere, and the stairs smelled stale and had piles of things in every corner. The stairways were dangerously cluttered. The rooftop was nothing like the photos: no wooden furniture or nice BBQ pit, just a disgusting old pit, dirty cement floor, broken furniture, and dead plants. The toilet walls and sink were dirty, and we only got super small face towels for the whole stay.
