Heima Guesthouse Hongdae

I spent 7 nights in a single room. It was on the small side, but worth the price and had everything I needed. The owner stayed in the house too, so I could just let them know if I needed anything. Hongik Uni station's Exit 7 is nearby, close to the airport railway. A perfect guesthouse!

The shared area was brilliant, with breakfast basics and facilities for cooking your own food. The rooms aren't big, but had all the comfort I needed. The place was spotless, the location amazing, and the hospitality great. Highly recommended.

I've stayed at guesthouses around Seoul, especially in Hongdae, and Heima has been my best experience so far. It's a short walk to the station and main street, but the street itself stays quiet enough for a restful night. I expected the solo room with its own toilet to be smaller, but there was enough space to open my suitcase without blocking anything. Both the room and bathroom were very clean, and the common area was tidy too. Breakfast basics were well stocked, and there was a shared fridge, drinking water, toaster, microwave, and even a stovetop if you have time to cook. Chris was helpful and quick to respond to messages and requests. I asked for a bath towel and got one. I also asked to leave my luggage before check-in and after check-out, and that was allowed. I'd definitely book here again. Thanks, Chris!

My room for three was spacious and super clean. The place is in a quiet alley in Hongdae, very close to the subway. Breakfast was free and excellent, and the kitchen was clean. The host was super friendly and shared local information. I'd definitely recommend it and come back on a future Seoul trip.
