Hotel ON Dongdaemun

The staff made the stay for me. They welcomed me warmly at check-in, were attentive throughout, and responded to my request almost instantly. Big thanks to both staff members for going out of their way to make me feel at home. Hotel27 is beautiful and clean, and my comfortable room had everything I needed. I had a fantastic stay and would definitely come back. Highly recommend it for the rooms and service.

The sheets and bath towels were stained, and the room reeked of smoke even though we’d specifically asked for a non-smoking room. Otherwise, it was good value and close to the subway. It’s not right by the busy area, so you’ll need transport to reach the tourist spots.

The neighborhood feels a bit industrial, so it may not be great for a first visit to Seoul, though Achasan and nearby hiking are a plus. There are plenty of buses and metro stops around, and the post office is just around the corner. My room was decent, modern, clean, and comfortable. The staff didn’t speak English well, or, I assume, other languages.

The room was comfortable and clean, but it didn’t smell clean at all. The cigarette odor was really strong 🤢😤.
