The convenience store, fast food place, and coffee shop were all just around the corner, which made things easy. The owner spoke a little English, but enough to understand. At first I was pretty skeptical, but I'm glad we picked this place for our 3 nights. It's about a 5-minute walk from Hongdae station Exit 2 at AK Plaza. The house was comfortable even though we had to share the toilets. I was pleasantly surprised to find a bidet, since I'm from a country where we use water in the toilet. The bed was fine for sleeping, though the room got a bit chilly later on. It was manageable, and I was satisfied with the stay.

The staff were super friendly and quick to respond, and we kept in touch through Whatsapp. It was my first time in Seoul, and this was a great place to stay for two nights. In Hongdae, I could walk to pretty much everything I needed, including transport, food, and shopping. I'd absolutely stay again.

It seemed like an older house had been turned into a hotel. It felt more like a private rental of the second floor of a house, suited to a large family or a big group of friends.
