The rooms are compact, so it’s fine for a night. Most share a bathroom, while the rooms with private bathrooms cost more. There’s no elevator, so getting a room on the fourth floor is rough. Hongik station is about 1.2 km away, roughly a 20-minute walk.

The room was decent for resting, with the shower inside but the toilet outside. I picked a single room for privacy since I snore loudly. The owner checked me in and showed me around well. The air-con and wifi both worked, though there was a lot of noise, and the price was reasonable. Finding the place was confusing at first, and it took me half an hour. After walking from Hapjeong station a couple of times, I learned the route and could get there in nine minutes. There’s a small GS25 about 100 m down the street, handy for food and drinks, especially on rainy days.

The beds were infested with bedbugs, and the rooms were horrible. I emailed to complain about my stay, but never heard back. The place felt extremely unprofessional. Stay away.

Absolutely terrible. There’s no privacy: the owner is rude, stares at you, and comes into the room without warning. They act like hosting you is some kind of favor.
