Moon Sun Guesthouse

The room was tiny and dirty, and there’s no lift, which made carrying our luggage really inconvenient. The stairs are narrow and steep; when we asked the owner to help, they refused. Service was very poor. We rang the bell for 10 minutes without anyone answering, and the front desk wasn’t open 24 hours as Agoda said. We left our bags there and couldn’t get them back that night, so we had to wait until morning. The owner doesn’t speak English. Very disappointing, do not stay here!

The rooms were very clean and had a heater, and the location was handy for train stations and restaurants. The owner doesn’t speak English, but Google Translate helps, and he tried his best to assist us. We could use the common area, and I was glad he let us wait there for a couple of hours for our taxi. I was also happy to find a very honest and responsible taxi driver in Seoul. We arranged pickup at the guesthouse, and he was prompt and accommodating, with a reasonable charge. I attached his phone number in one of my pictures. Highly recommended.

The bathroom is roomier than the ones in other places, and the beds are comfortable. Breakfast is simple, with toast and eggs that you cook yourself. It’s very close to the shopping area, and after a bit of a climb you’re near the cable car.

The room was clean and small, and there’s a nice basement. It’s centrally located in Seoul, with transportation less than a 10-minute walk away.
