There's no elevator, so you'll need to carry your bags up the stairs. The rooms have a futon instead of a bed, which means there's nowhere to sit except on the floor. It seems best for solo travelers unless you confirm a larger room for 2. On the plus side, the room was clean and the location was great, with lots of shops, cafes, and restaurants nearby.

I stayed two nights on my own, and the host kindly brought an extra futon and blanket when I asked. Check-in and checkout were self-service and easy, and messages through the booking website got quick replies. The room had everything I needed, including a small fridge, and there were lots of TV channels. The shower was strong and nicely hot, with shampoo, conditioner, and bath gel provided. Hot and cold distilled water was available in the corridor outside my room. The station was a minute away and the shopping area just two minutes away, yet the place sits on a quiet slope next to a school. Thanks for the hospitality, I enjoyed my stay!

When I got sick and had to cancel at the last minute, they waived the fee that was supposed to apply. They didn't have to do that, and I don't want anyone to expect the same or take advantage, since it may have been a one-time kindness. I'd stayed here before and had really enjoyed it. The people are genuinely nice, and this is a clean, good-value place in a great spot. It's one of my go-to stays in Seoul. The property is on a quiet Myeongdong street, close to tourist sights while still feeling like a real neighborhood. My room was comfortable and immaculately clean, and I loved sleeping on the futon. There's no elevator, though the stairs are healthier, and I liked the traditional feel. It felt like a real cultural experience.
