For the money, this is a really good place to stay. It's well located, not far from the subway and very close to shops and the large Myeongdong market. The hotel has the basics and some useful extras: a shared room with a microwave and a steam iron, an automatic currency exchange machine, and an eSIM available from that same machine. It was much cheaper than the foreign providers I usually buy online before travelling, such as Holafly or Yesim, and the SKT eSIM had better internet connection. There's also a small convenience store inside the hotel, which was super helpful. I would have liked the room carpets and couches to be cleaner.

I've stayed here for extended periods twice and have nothing to complain about. The beds are comfortable, the breakfast and service are good, and many sights are within walking distance. There's also a little mart in the lobby that's always open, selling just about everything you'd need.

Read the one-star reviews carefully before deciding. Guests describe suffering from bedbugs in their rooms, and say the management didn't care when bags were stolen from rooms. There are also reviews about hostile looks from Morgan and other staff, and guests being given rooms different from what the hotel's website showed. Given those accounts, I can't see how this hotel could deserve a rating above 4. Think carefully before risking your money and health.

The bag had newly bought items in it, and it disappeared from our room. We reported it right away, but for four days the response was that they were still checking. The manager ordered another check and dismissed everything else as assumptions. We got no compensation or useful support. Housekeeping said they hadn't noticed a missing bag, and the hotel said the CCTV was too unclear to show whether it had left the room. Our booking agency emailed them asking for an explanation and appropriate compensation, but the hotel didn't reply. After the agency called, they were told there would be no compensation because the incident couldn't be clearly proven. We later found other reviews on different platforms describing similar incidents. We hadn't known about them before our stay. Most of the hotel was acceptable, but this overshadowed everything. For a hotel of this standard, we expected professionalism, responsibility, and a sincere effort to sort it out. Instead, we were left with the loss and on our own. I can't recommend it, especially if safety, accountability, and trustworthy service matter to you.
