Mr. Kim warmly welcomed us and introduced the house. It's an authentic traditional Korean home, with traditional furniture and paintings, right in central Seoul near Insa-dong, where you can find souvenirs for friends and family. Its location is convenient: 1.2 km from Kyungbok-gung, 800 meters or half a mile from Changduk-gung, and 200 meters from the birthplace of King Ko-jong, the last king of the Chosun dynasty, and the living quarters of his father, Daewon-goon, who held power over him for much of his life. The history, location, and welcome make this a place I can highly recommend if you get the chance to visit Seoul. I really enjoyed my stay.

The house worked well for a larger group, and getting around the city was easy with a transit station nearby. It's in a very good neighborhood, and the location is pristine. The host showed us everything we needed and the atmosphere was perfect. Service was top tier.
