The kitchen was good, and the owners were so friendly. It’s a bustling, fun area close to lots of great things, but the room itself was nice and quiet when we came back.

Clean room, kind owners, and a great stay. My favorite part was getting to talk with the owners at the front desk instead of dealing with a machine :)

The location worked really well for seeing both Myeongdong and Insadong, from shopping to traditional hanok cafes and palaces. There are two 7-Elevens downstairs and lots of places to eat and go out. The Incheon Airport limousine bus stop is about a five-minute walk away. For Gimpo Airport, you’ll need public transport since there’s no direct limousine bus. What made this stay special was the owner’s care. After I developed contact dermatitis on my Japan trip, which got worse in the heat, he found a nearby dermatologist, walked me there himself, and translated so I could get an appointment right away. I healed quickly with his help. Compared with the bigger hotels I’d stayed at in Seoul, this smaller place felt personal and homey. The room was spacious, with a comfortable bed that was firm but not too hard. There’s a powerful AC, mini fridge, free shared washer and dryer, and a communal kitchen stocked with water and snacks. Umbrellas are available for guests too. The bathroom is a wet room, with the toilet and shower in one space, which is common in Asia but different from typical American hotels. The walls are a bit thin, so light sleepers may hear neighbors or morning housekeeping. You could ask for an interior room away from the entrance. Late checkout costs extra, but they can store your luggage.

We could walk everywhere from this well located hotel. The rooms were clean, and the reception staff were really polite and kind.
