The room’s on the small side, so it may not suit anyone over 6'2'' looking for 3 star+ accommodation. But for a cheap place to sleep and catch the metro in the morning, it does the job. Line 4 is right outside, and the staff were really friendly and helpful when I stayed.

You can step straight out to Hoehyeon station’s exit 1, and Myeongdong’s beauty shops are about a five minute walk away. Namdaemun market is across the road. It’s a small boutique hotel, but the staff were very friendly and accommodating. They had toiletries, bottled water, a biscuit on arrival, and a washer and drawer conveniently up on the rooftop.

The staff were kind and tried to help with the language, and the guy at reception even gave me some Chocopies. It has a bit of a motel feel and wasn’t as clean as the apartments, but I was comfortable there. I’d go back.

There’s not much room in the hotel, but it was clean. Namdaemun market is just across the way, the subway is easy to reach, and there are restaurants and cafes all over the area.

A little small, but clean and okay, with helpful staff and enough facilities. The owner even booked an airport taxi for me, and got a big one at a rate cheaper than standard.
