Vong, his wife, and their daughter welcomed us with open arms. In the month I've spent in Laos, Vong has been the most courteous owner I've met. The cabins are nicely secluded, and there's a huge dining room. They make the meals, breakfast, cookies, and homemade bread in their kitchen. Everything we ate was number one. Strongly recommend staying here, you won't regret it. 5*

We came here to slow down while doing the loop, and it was a lovely place to relax. The little bungalows are beautiful, set right by the river in a wonderfully quiet location, and you can even swim there. The host and his family made us feel very welcome, and the food was excellent. A special thank you for the delicious Christmas cake, such a nice surprise. 🎄🫶🏼🙏🏽 I can highly recommend staying here.

The riverbank restaurant area has a lot of character and makes a peaceful spot to sit and unwind. We spent two nights here and loved how warmly the lovely owners looked after us. They worked hard to make us comfortable, and the clean, well-kept wooden cabins were spacious, with good AC for hot nights and an excellent shower. Breakfast was included and fabulous, and we also enjoyed delicious home-cooked dinners. The couple's cattle wander around and add to the character of the place. We had our own transport, and the famous Kong Lor Cave was about a 50-minute drive away.

It's a long way from town, but we still got the smoke from burning rubbish, which was unfortunate. We had a very relaxed stay, though. The room, bed, and private bathroom were clean and comfortable. There's also a restaurant serving good, Thai-style food.
