We booked for two days and ended up staying a whole week. The location made that easy: the morning market, alms giving ceremony, Mekong, hill, night market, supermarket, pharmacy, and the best rice porridge I had in Laos were all within a three-minute walk. The room was clean, had a bedside lamp and hot water, and the staff were lovely. Great value for the price.

We were in room 202 for four nights over New Year's Eve. The room was very clean and neatly arranged, and the location was great, just 50 meters from the Morning market. The staff at Loa Lu Lodge were quiet but friendly and hospitable.

The river and night market are both an easy walk from this cozy hotel. My room only had orange lighting, no white light, so it felt a bit dark 🤣. Still, I thought it was worth it.

Handy spot near the markets in Luang Prabang, with clean, very nice rooms and helpful staff. I also liked the free refill station for water bottles, which saved us from buying bottled water. The WiFi was patchy, though.

The room was clean and very quiet, and they paid attention to our requests. We got a nice welcome and good service. I liked having free coffee at reception too. It's not a luxury hotel, but the quality for the price is good, and I'd happily recommend it.
