Sou, the manager, was extremely helpful with everything I asked, and I'm very grateful, though my recommendation isn't just because of that. The hotel is a beautifully renovated traditional wooden house overlooking the Mekong, in one of the quietest and prettiest parts of LP, close to the night market. The decor feels elegant while staying true to the original style, and the shower is one of the best in Laos. Just remember that a preserved old wooden house doesn't block sound like a modern building. If noise bothers you, bring earplugs. A small tradeoff for sleeping somewhere so beautiful.

Sou is a kind, caring host, and her staff are very helpful too. It's a lovely little hotel in a heritage wooden house right by the Mekong, with excellent service and an ideal location. These old wooden houses can be a bit sound-sensitive, and some guests may be less mindful of that than others. That's life.

Su was wonderfully helpful with practical town advice and arranging trips, and the other staff were lovely as well. Breakfast is included, with Western, Asian, or continental choices, and everything I tried was delicious. The place is a charming traditional wooden house beside the Mekong. I'd definitely stay here for a taste of real Luang Prabang hospitality 👍

The owner is friendly and hospitable, which makes up for some of the room's downsides. Mine was rather dark, with too little lighting, and the walls are thin enough that you can hear conversations next door. The location is pretty good, with the Mekong right in front and cafes, temples, and restaurants easy to reach. The Night Market is only a few minutes' walk away.
