Vangsavath Hotel

The pool was amazing, very clean, and chlorine-free, using a special self-cleaning system that makes the water better for skin and hair. The owner speaks perfect English and went out of her way when we arrived to suggest things to do. She and the rest of the staff were lovely and helpful. They run a free shuttle into town at set times, which was a bonus. They also have lots of exciting plans to improve the hotel and its facilities in the coming years. Definitely recommend this lovely hotel.

Pinky was really passionate about the hotel, and they let us check in a few hours early, which was a huge bonus after our flight. We were there for just three nights while travelling, but would definitely stay again if we get back to Laos. The place was clean and the pool area was stunning, peaceful, and tranquil. The beds were comfortable, and there was a minibar, toiletries, and dressing gowns. Free bikes and a shuttle to and from the centre were handy. It's about a 20-minute walk to the centre too. Honestly, a little gem.

Our host Pinky was incredibly nice, and she's the main reason we stayed longer than we originally planned. She made getting around easy with bikes for short trips and a shuttle to the night market. The hotel felt like a little private oasis, with a beautiful new fresh water pool in the backyard. There are plans for a bar, gym, and sauna. We felt welcome from the first minute to the last. The rooms were clean and had everything we needed, including comfy bathrobes at no extra charge. It's a nice escape from the crowds in the historic center, while still close enough to head there whenever you like. We usually don't rate places, but after six weeks travelling around South-East Asia, this one left a lasting five-star impression. Thank you.

Our host was so helpful. She sorted out our onward travel tickets and drove us into town whenever we needed a lift. Although it's a little out of town, having a pool was a benefit, and we could still get to all the amenities. We had a lovely stay.
