The restaurant across the road was good, just as another reviewer said. I stayed for one night and paid 250 for a double. The room was okay, and the shower was warm, but the air conditioner outside was really noisy even though ours was off. I didn't feel very welcome. When I left, nobody acknowledged me or said goodbye.

After a terrible night's sleep at my previous place in 40-degree heat, arriving to a room already blasting cold air was such a treat. It kept running without my key in the holder, though I can't tell if that was a fault. The rate was 150k for an air-conditioned room, the same across the board, and I found it probably the best value for money in Laos. There are dozens of rooms, and it felt busy while I was there. Maybe truckers make it a popular stop, but there's a good chance you'll find a room when you arrive. They also have a kettle by reception, and everyone was very welcoming.

You can get a single air-conditioned room with a double bed and small table for 130k KIP, or pay 150k for a room with air conditioning and two double beds. The rooms were clean and nice, but the shower pressure was very low, apparently because the shower head was old. WiFi barely worked during my stay. Free instant coffee is available in the front office.

The place is near the town exit, which made it a nice spot to stay. We paid 150k a night for two. There's air conditioning and hot water in the shower, and some of the workers know a little English. I noticed mold on the walls, but it was fine for a one-night stay.
