I've stopped here twice on trips up to phongsali. There are heaps of rooms and I walked in without a reservation, so they can handle you whatever your mode of locomotion, whether you walk, crawl, or run. The bathroom has the usual layout, with the shower over the toilet, sink, towel rack, and power point, so the whole routine is streamlined. Wifi shows full bars, then pulls the uno reverso and leaves you buffering right when the Stranger Things kids are fighting the Mind Flayer.

The rooms are basic, with AC, for 250,000k. The rest of the hotel is nice enough, and there's secure parking. Quiet and pleasant for a night.

I stayed four nights and started out in the largest room, which cost 350,000 LAK for the first night. The other nights I switched to a 250,000 LAK room. Both room options are spacious and nice, but cleanliness was an issue. There's no hair dryer. The parking area is large, and since it's in town there are restaurants nearby.

The guesthouse is small but has a lovely atmosphere. It's conveniently near the market, shops, and restaurants. There are lots of trees and plants, which means mosquitoes at night, but I was still able to sleep comfortably.

A simple, pleasant hotel in a handy spot in Udomxai. The main market is a few hundred meters away, and there's a popular restaurant close by. The red cross sauna massage is also just 850m away.
