The balcony and roomy rooms make it easy to enjoy the view, and the price felt fair. There’s A/C, the wifi works well, and laundry service is available. Ny at reception was really friendly and helpful.

Our ride to Luang Prabang turned into a very long local bus trip, taking 7+ hours and stopping every two hours so water could be poured on the brakes. We had paid 120,000 for a mini bus leaving at 1130, but only learned at the station that no mini bus had been scheduled then. The hotel’s associated travel agent took us there by tuk tuk, said the mini bus wasn’t available, and put us on the local bus instead. Be very, very careful booking transport through them.

The second-floor rooms are big and airy, simple but clean. There’s also a swimming pool, and the views are great.

It was quiet since there was hardly anyone staying there. Pretty normal otherwise.
