FAA Apartment

I was quite happy with my stay, though my feelings about the place are mixed. It was cheap, quiet, and the room was clean and spacious, with a soft mattress. There was no safe or hair dryer, and the AC in my room, 3b, was broken. The building only has stairs, which made hauling luggage at check-in and check-out painful. The gate closes at 1 am, so no coming or going after that, and guests aren't allowed in the room. They also list washing clothes as prohibited, which felt like an odd rule.

For the price, I couldn't have asked for more. It's right in the middle of everything, and the room was spacious and clean, with a fridge and microwave. The bed was comfortable, just the right softness. The front desk offered currency exchange at a better rate than local banks, but they often didn't have enough cash available. There wasn't a single hair dryer in the whole place, though. If you're staying here, make sure to wash your hair a few hours before bed so it can dry fully. I don't think you'll regret staying.

The place was worn out, and the towels were really dirty. We booked online but didn't get the room we'd reserved. Staff lied about a lot: first they assured us it wouldn't be noisy at night, but it was super loud. Then they said the telephone didn't work, which was also untrue. When I asked for the manager, they said she'd be there the next morning, but she never showed. They promised to return my money and didn't. There's no kitchen, just a microwave. You're also not allowed to wash clothes, and guests aren't permitted, so it's definitely not an apartment. I can't recommend it at all.

The beds were so comfortable, yay. The rooms were clean and spacious, with a lovely balcony at the front. Staff were a delight, and the location was good, around the corner from the night food markets and lots of restaurants. Water pressure wasn't great.
