Bkerzay

Everyone was so welcoming and friendly. We loved the Bkerzay tabbouleh, especially how fresh and flavorful the pomegranate and pomegranate molasses made it. The taouk platter was amazing, light, and fresh, and the homemade fries were something special. We also tried the platter of the day, gigot and freekeh, and it was really tasty. They brought a complimentary assortment of dessert, including lazy cake, halewa, raha, and some fruit. All delicious.

We’d stayed at the hotel several times before, but this visit was for the lunch buffet. The place is still fascinating, though there was roadwork this time. The buffet had good variety but no grill, and the service was acceptable compared with seasonal restaurants. I’d recommend it for either a meal or a weekend getaway. Prices are in the mid to high range.

Bkerzay in Chouf was a lovely place for a peaceful family getaway. The atmosphere was beautiful and relaxing, and the place is very kid-friendly. We enjoyed a delicious buffet lunch, and the staff were all super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

The setting is amazing, the guest house is beautiful, the rooms are very nice, and the atmosphere is peaceful. But the restaurant ruined the experience. The food quality was very poor, and there was hardly any variety, which is unacceptable when you’re staying somewhere remote with no other dining options nearby. We ordered chicken liver that had a very bad smell. We asked the waiter to take it back, but it still showed up on the bill. They offered no gesture, not even a simple dessert. The “international menu” at night had barely any options, and room service was just as limited. For such a beautiful place, the food and service were a major disappointment. Zero stars for the restaurant and service. If management improves the food quality and menu variety, this could easily be a top-tier destination, but for now I wouldn’t return.
