The calm here made it easy for me to properly unwind. I was so pleased with this lovely resort. Rooms are spacious and clean, and the staff are upbeat and helpful. It’s set in a beautiful spot, with a quiet beach, an authentic Buddhist temple, and a fishing village close by. One of the best places I found in southern Sri Lanka. I’d recommend it to anyone looking to relax and experience the Sri Lankan countryside.

The resort is clean, pleasant, and well off the beaten track, so it works well if you’re after poolside downtime and the occasional organised trip. Still, swimming in the ocean right in front of Ladja Beach resort isn’t really possible because access is rough, with rocks and corrals. You’ll need to go somewhere else for a swim. The restaurant food also seemed overpriced compared with other places we visited in Sri Lanka. 👍🙂

Lucus and his team made my family and me feel very welcome, and the rooms were spacious and really clean. The hotel is only a minute from the beach. It was a one of a kind stay, and I’d recommend it to anyone visiting the south of srilanka. I’d stay at least 3 to 4 nights.

The quiet surroundings and people-free beaches made it easy to switch off. The pool is free to use and just the right temperature for an early morning swim. Services were friendly, quick, and very good, and the food felt like something your mother made. They can also arrange a driver from the airport who gets you to the resort without delay, so you don’t have to tire yourself out dealing with local taxi services. One of the best resorts of this kind I’ve stayed at.
