The family were very hospitable, and they'll cook every meal for you if you like, with the bill settled at checkout. You can also rent scooters. The room was good and set in a cute little garden. It's close to the beach, though there isn't much else to do nearby. Still, I'd recommend staying a few nights for a more local Sri Lankan experience.

Brian can take you wherever you want and show you around, his sister makes delicious meals and looks after you, and his uncle can give you a lift in his tuktuk. It's a typical place run by a lovely family, with a very clean room in a garden and air conditioning if you want it. Don't hesitate!
