We visited for two days in September 2017 with friends from London and India. The location was good and the place very clean, but the sea was too rocky and dangerous to swim in. The service didn't match what the advertisement promised. It mentioned a modern kitchen, but the kitchen was dirty, and the food was prepared and frozen. We gave the cook some hand wash to use. After 11 PM there was only one person serving, and he was so tired we had to send him to bed. There were just three beers in the fridge and no ice left, so we had to go out and get more ourselves because no one was available to do it. The staff were good but poorly trained. I told management about all of this, but they didn't care. Think twice before booking. I live in London and have visited Sri Lanka many times. There are much more beautiful places with better service.

A clean, gorgeous beach on Sri Lanka's southern coast, around Ambalangoda, Balapitiya. There's a private entrance, but the beach itself isn't privately owned, anyone can access it.
