The property is nice, and the private beach was clean and peaceful. But service was extremely slow, and room service was very poor. The food was awful. Breakfast was the same every day, without variety or taste, and there were hardly any vegetarian choices. When I went to the pool with my two daughters and asked for towels, they only gave one per person. The staff were very rude.

I’ve kept coming back here for 20 years. The beach is lovely, with sand like white powder, and it’s a great place to spend time with the people you love. There’s plenty to do, including boat safaris and jet skiing. The location itself is wonderful.

We spent the day with colleagues from the office and had a fantastic time. We had two rooms, used the swimming pool, and enjoyed a delicious lunch followed by afternoon tea. The boat ride from the hotel entrance was a great way to start the day.

The beach is lovely, but walking there at night is difficult because there’s no lighting and lots of dogs that can be scary. The entrance is shown in the wrong place, across the river, so you need to take the hotel’s boat to get to the property. The rooms are clean and a good size. Breakfast was very average for a 4* place, and the same spread was served each day apart from one juice. Room service is badly understaffed. Going out for meals or shopping is a task since you need a boat ride every time.

We’ve only just arrived, and it’s already disappointing. Our room’s “view” was a moldy black outdoor roof, so we had to ask to change rooms. It took 90 minutes for our Nasi Goorang to arrive. After we spoke with the chef, the meal was brought to our room at no charge.
