The staff were so helpful and friendly, and made us feel welcome and comfortable from the start. The hotel is in a good location with access to the beach. Our room was spotless and well equipped, and we had a great stay. Thank you.

The rooms are spacious and the pool is nice. It’s a little far from most restaurants, though walking along the beach is pleasant. On the last day of our trip, my 18c gold ring was stolen from our balcony. It was a family ring and meant a huge amount to me. The manager helped us review the security footage, but we had to pay for a tuk-tuk to the police station, just five minutes down the road, instead of being offered a free ride. The cleaner who had worked the day the ring went missing was then suspiciously off sick the next day, so we couldn’t question him. Having something so valuable stolen completely ruined our trip, and I’m absolutely distraught. Stay away if you want to keep your valuables safe.

The food was freshly made and presented really nicely. I had the Chinese chicken soup, which was delicious, with garlic toast on the side. The young waiters were friendly and efficient, and we’ll certainly be back. This is a newly opened restaurant, separate from the hotel even though it’s part of it, and it’s located on the Galle Road.

I’m a woman travelling alone, and I felt safe and really comfortable here. The rooms are clean and lovely, and the location is great with private beach access. I also had a massage and loved it. There’s an enclosed restaurant with great breakfast and lunch, plus amazing dinners with fresh seafood. Ask about safe, fair tuk-tuk rides into the nearby town. Go and enjoy it.
