Rockery Villa Ayurveda

Bentota Beach stole my heart: a wide shoreline, clean soft sand, and a calm atmosphere. The seafood was incredibly fresh and delicious, and the whole experience felt authentic and special. This trip hadn't even been planned, and I didn't have high expectations, but it became one of my most precious experiences. Rockery Villa was peaceful and comfortable, just right for relaxing after a day of adventure. Mr. Danish welcomed us like family, with genuine, personal warmth. We arrived as guests and left feeling like we'd found a home in Sri Lanka. The villa gave us more than a place to stay, it gave us memories. We'd definitely return and recommend it to anyone visiting Sri Lanka who wants comfort, adventure, and heartfelt hospitality in one place.

The hotel is across the road from the beach, and you cross the railway track and walk to get there. It took less than five minutes and didn't bother us. We heard the occasional train, as you do anywhere in this area, but there was no road noise from our bedroom. The pool was large, clean, and peaceful, with well-kept grounds and interesting plants around it. Breakfast was good, and we had no complaints. We stayed just two nights, on the 7th and 8th of January, and wished we'd known to book longer. The place was freshly painted, clean, and very well kept. The staff couldn't have done more, and the large rooms had everything working, unlike most places. This little gem deserves a 5 rating rather than a 3. I've no hesitation recommending it, especially since it was far better than some more expensive hotels we've stayed in. Thanks again.

Dinesh, the manager, was really helpful and arranged a boat trip and a transfer to Mirissa for very good prices. The hotel was clean and great for a few nights in Bentota. Lovely pool, and the beach is just a five-minute walk away.

Quiet and peaceful. I had a lovely stay in a balcony room overlooking the pool and garden. The Ayurveda treatments were excellent too. Thank you.
