The staff were really helpful, friendly, and nice, and the food was good. But the price felt high for this accommodation. The bedroom needs to be fully equipped, the bathroom needs fittings for holding toiletries, and the floor mats need cleaning. I also found a dead insect in the dressing room. That’s all.
The guest house is close to lots of city attractions, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are good by local standards. Finding the place is difficult, though. It’s down an alley, taxi drivers won’t find it, and they could use a decent sign. Airport transfers are expensive, starting at $25 US.
I liked the breakfast, and the managers were polite, informative, and ready to help when needed without being pushy. The place was clean, nice, and quiet, with a pretty good location near some landmarks I walked to. I enjoyed my stay and would recommend it.
Thushari was an extremely helpful, patient, and insightful host. The staff were super friendly and accommodating, and breakfast was way too much yummy food. We had a really nice, private, comfortable room with the biggest bathroom I’ve ever seen.
This was my first day in Sri Lanka, and I booked here after seeing good reviews on the booking website. The room and facilities were okay, and breakfast and staff were good. The location was my only problem. As a newcomer, I expected a hotel on a wide road surrounded by stores, but it was tucked into local streets, with just one local restaurant and two small general stores within walking distance.
