Moss Colombo

I had to change rooms because my first one smelled of mould, and they moved me to a better room without charging extra. The bedrooms are spacious and simply furnished, and they’re cleaned every day. There’s a shared lounge with a water cooler and an Apple computer, plus an open kitchen where guests can keep food in the fridge. Staff were especially friendly and helpful. The place is clean, homely, and handy for shops and malls, though morning noise and music were a nuisance.

The host was kind and helpful, and there’s a cool air conditioned lounge for relaxing. They also provide free water and WiFi. My room was roomy, the steel bunk frames kept movement from a bunk mate from disturbing me, and the bathrooms were clean with decent showers. A really nice backpacker place. I’d happily return.

We’d been staying in budget places around Sri Lanka, then chose this place for our final two nights and were glad we did. The shower was fantastic, the rooms were clean and modern, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We had a really good stay in Colombo.

We slept peacefully throughout our stay. The place is well kept and very clean, in a lovely spot that makes getting around Colombo easy. The staff were welcoming and ready to help whenever needed, especially brother Pusparaja. Highly recommended.
