The staff were kind, friendly, and keen to make the stay pleasant. The apartments are nicely furnished and well maintained, though the kitchen area needs better organization. Food quality was good, but room service was slow. They always quoted about 20 minutes, while the food took close to 45. The building’s two lifts had little waiting time. The serviced apartments are clean and well located. The pool was under maintenance during my stay, but the Residence arranged for guests to use the pool at the Kingsbury Hotel. All in all, a pleasant stay.

My family and I booked a three-bedroom suite for a very reasonable price. It had a spacious living area, three bathrooms, and even a powder room, so we each had our own bathroom. The rooms are the nicest I’ve stayed in in Sri Lanka, and I’d come back if the price isn’t too high. The staff are friendly, though they seem short-staffed. The breakfast buffet is basic but alright. I’d like the gym to have Lysol wipes for cleaning equipment. Even with those points, I’d recommend this place for a very comfortable stay in a great spot in the heart of Colombo.

My family and I spent two nights in these suites, and it was the worst hotel experience I’ve had, in Sri Lanka or anywhere else. The furniture was old, cleanliness was poor, and there were cockroaches everywhere. I don’t understand how the hotel has such high ratings on Booking or Google. After the first night, I put out the sign asking for our suite to be cleaned. I was sure I’d left it that way, but when we returned, it had been switched to “do not disturb” and the room hadn’t been cleaned.

The service was quick, with hardly any wait, and the staff were friendly. You can sit indoors or outside by the pool, though that giant screen on a nearby building was distracting. You need to pay for your food and drinks before they bring them over. We had a good time and plan to come back.
