Tamasha Mango House

From the outside, the place might not seem like much, but we had a really good stay. It's a great option for this price range, and you can walk to Dikwella Beach and Turtle Point. The breakfast was delicious, the place clean and tidy, and the host warm and welcoming. The helper was less pleasant, though it wasn't anything worth complaining about. I hope they reach their full potential, and wish them all the best.

Tamasha Mango House was a peaceful escape, even though it's conveniently close to Dickwella's beaches and other attractions. We felt we got more than we paid for, with very reasonable prices for the comfort and service. Our rooms were spotless, nicely decorated, and had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms clean. It was clear that a lot of care went into maintaining the place. The hosts were welcoming and attentive from the moment we arrived, always willing to go the extra mile. We had a delightful stay and can't wait to return. Tamasha Mango House is a lovely base for exploring Sri Lanka's south coast or simply getting away to relax. Thanks to the hosts for making it so memorable.

The breakfast changes, and the Sri Lankan one was easily the best. The room itself was basic, nothing special, and you have to ask if you want it cleaned. During my 6 nights there, it wasn't cleaned until I asked after day 4. The kitchen was very dirty and not a place I'd want to cook for myself.

The owner was lovely, and breakfast was served in a local style. There's also a good restaurant on the same grounds, with excellent grilled prawns. The rooms have been newly refurbished, with a comfortable four-poster bed and mosquito net, plus a new bathroom with a power shower. A very good budget stay.
