Ella Rock Mystery Hotel

The balcony has a beautiful mountain view, and the room is very spacious. The place is inside a tea garden, so at least one signboard would have made it easier to find.

The room has a truly breathtaking view. Getting there is the drawback: you have to walk about 100 metres along the road, which is difficult with luggage. The hotel guy was helpful, though.

We stayed two days in the family room and had a really good time. The view was stunning and helped us relax, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. A few things need attention: the road to the hotel needs maintenance, and lights along the sides would make it easier to see. The hot-water shower and water pressure could also be improved. With those changes, this place could be excellent. We’d consider coming back.

The view was the highlight, especially at sunset, and Little Adam’s Peak entrance is only about a 10-minute walk away. The hotel sits at the end of a narrow road cars can't use, though you can ask the host to help with your bags. It gets pretty dark coming back after dinner, so we used our phone flashlight. The heater worked but the water wasn't very hot, and the Wi-Fi was slow. Still, we had a memorable stay and loved the view for the affordable price.
