The price is really good for what you get. The owners were lovely, and we met nearly the whole family. Everyone was extremely friendly. Our room was clean and had a mosquito net. The dogs were friendly too, and the location was beautiful and quiet, but still within walking distance of town. Their son has a tuk-tuk and drove us to the tea plantations and a waterfall. They also booked a shared taxi to Galle for us, which was a big help.

Avoid this place. The walls had no ventilation and were covered in black mould and damp stains. I was sent here because the owner is the cousin of the owner of the guesthouse I’d booked, which was full when I arrived. I asked to move to another room, but they said none of the available rooms were mould-free. I refused to stay rather than breathe in mould spores.

I loved the quiet atmosphere and relaxing in the hammock. The house is beautiful, the owners are very friendly, and my room and bathroom were clean and nice. The bathroom was modern too. Everything felt perfect, and I highly recommend this place.

It felt like home, and we enjoyed spending time with the two lovely dogs. The hosts showed us wonderful hospitality, and the room rates were reasonable. Such a lovely place, highly recommend.
