The rooms were clean and nice, with a beautiful view, and the host was happy to help with any questions. The location is perfect for hikes to Adams Peak and 9 Arches Bridge. I’d gladly come back anytime!

The staff were nice, and it was cozy inside, with just four tables. Rustle Hill Pub was the only nearby cafe we found that sold beer, and they had Lion and Carlsberg. The washroom was in such poor shape that we left after one drink.

The location was good and there was parking. The owner was nice and the staff friendly, and the room was clean and good for the price. It was up a lot of stairs, so keep that in mind if stairs are difficult for you. The bathroom was clean at first, but by the end of our second night it was covered in ants.

The room was clean, with a mosquito net, and had its own sofa and dining area on the balcony. There was also a shared space with a kettle, refrigerator, dishes, cutlery, and a place to wash up. Breakfast wasn't part of my room rate, but they could arrange it on request for 1000bucks. During my one night there, I found snails in the bathroom twice and an earthworm once. I don't know where they were coming from. The hotel is right between Ella's main town and the starting points for Little Adams Peak and Nine arch bridge. It's about a 20-minute walk from the railway station, with a slight uphill climb on the way there. The return walk is easier with luggage, or you can get a tuk tuk for 200-300 Lkr. You need to climb around 100 stairs to reach the room, which was hard with luggage. I paid 3000lkr for one night in mid Jan 2024. Calling to ask about a vacancy worked out cheaper than booking through online websites. Great value for money overall.
