Tea Forest Lodge

Tea Forest Lodge was peaceful and cozy, and only a 10-minute walk from the main market. Shiva, Geetha, and Kavya looked after everything and made us feel at home in a foreign country. Their warm hospitality made our March 24-26 stay especially memorable. Breakfast had a delicious variety of fresh, flavorful options. When we were traveling, they even packed breakfast for us, and Shiva went the extra mile by making authentic Sri Lankan delicacies. The service was impeccable, and we highly recommend this welcoming place in Sri Lanka. Thank you, Shiva, Geetha, and Kavya, for making our trip so special!

The best part of our stay was the staff. They were all kind and helpful, and Siva was such a friendly host, making sure we had what we needed and helping us feel at home. We’ll always remember their kindness and positive attitude. Tea Forest Lodge is a quiet spot surrounded by beautiful nature, within driving distance of the center. The nine arch bridge and little adams peak are both walkable from here. Breakfast was tasty too, especially the roti, sambal, and fruit plate.

Being right on the Pekoe Trail made this a great base for hiking. We could walk to the 9 Arches Bridge, Little Adams Peak, Ellas Rock, and sections of the Pekoe Trail. The accommodation is a little outside Ella, which we liked for getting away from the tourist bustle. We stayed three nights while visiting Ella, and Shiva took excellent care of us. He cooked delicious meals, each one different, and also made some of our favorite dishes. We had a lovely time and highly recommend it.

We really appreciated the service from Shiva and Saana. They were always smiling and very kind, and you can see they’re doing their best to keep the hotel running perfectly. Nice hotel, good view, and very good service. I recommend it.
